As Catedrais da Alma são construções de Luz e Energia dentro do Ser Humano. São a representação oculta e simbólica da nossa viagem interior e da nossa descoberta da Divindade interior.
Elas Representam o Brilho do etéreo, coração alquímico da Forma que aparece em reencarnações sucessivas e que nunca se extingue, nem evoluí.
A Forma é Ela mesma, através do tempo e das eras eternas.
Nos trabalhos das Catedrais, tentei representar as etapas da alma humana, combinando-as em nove diferentes fases da vida. Quando cheguei à nona Catedral, não tive mais inspiração, por isso parei nesta e não fiz mais nenhuma. O processo de evolução havia terminado. Chamei a esta última “O Regresso” e veio-me à ideia que a primeira deveria ser chamada de “O Nascimento”. Mas logo apercebi-me que deveria chamar à primeira “Antes do Nascimento”, representando o estado entre vidas e antes da Alma ter escolhido um corpo particular no qual encarnar. Assim, a primeira Catedral está relacionada com a fase da escolha e da consideração por todas as oportunidades. Depois “O Nascimento” e “Depois do Nascimento” seguem como etapas dois e três.

“A Infância” é o nome que escolhi para a quarta etapa, ambos para a Alma e para a forma humana este é o veículo da encarnação. A quinta etapa está relacionada com a quarta, e a sua Catedral representa “Aprendizagem”. Considero esta etapa como uma etapa de lembrança do que tenha sido esquecido de vidas passadas e precisa nesta vida de voltar a ser lembrado.
Para além do conhecimento que é simplesmente lembrado, há um outro tipo de conhecimento que é pedido à forma humana que dê à sua própria Alma. Este tipo de conhecimento é representado nas próximas três Catedrais e está relacionado com o Amor; daí os seus nomes “Amar”, “Ser Amado” e “Amar e Ser Amado”. A maior parte de nós passa a vida inteira apenas amando e outros apenas sendo amados; há muito poucos que possam experienciar ambos. Considero uma bênção ter este sentimento e partilhá-lo com outras pessoas.
A última Catedral, como já mencionei, é chamada “O Regresso”, significando o regresso ao Pai, à Essência Primordial donde vem cada Alma e cada forma humana. Nesta Catedral, todos regressamos a Casa.

The Cathedrals of the Soul are buildings of Light and Energy within the Human Being. They are the hidden and symbolic representation of our inner journey and our
discovery of the Divinity within. They represent the Brightness of the ethereal, alchemical heart of the Shape that appears in successive incarnations and that never becomes extinguished or evolves. The Shape is She herself, through endless time and endless ages.
In the Cathedral paintings, I tried to represent the stages of the human soul, combining them in nine different phases of life. When I reached the ninth Cathedral, I no longer had any inspiration, so I stopped there and made no more. The process of evolution was finished. I called this last one “The Return” and so originally thought
that the first one should be called “Birth.” But then I realized that instead I needed to call the first one “Before Birth,” representing the stage between lives and before the Soul has chosen a particular body in which to reincarnate. So the first Cathedral is about the phase of that choosing and considering all the odds. Then “Birth” and “After Birth” follow as stages two and three.
“Childhood” is the name I have chosen for the fourth stage, both for the Soul and for the human form that is its vehicle for incarnation. The fifth stage is related to
the fourth, and this Cathedral represents “Learning.” I understand this stage as a stage of remembering what has been forgotten from past lives and needs now in the present life to be brought forth again.
Besides the knowledge that is common and is simply remembered, there is another kind of knowledge that the human form is asked to give to his or her own Soul. This kind of knowledge is represented in the next three Cathedrals and is related to Love; hence their names “To Love,” “To be Loved,” and “To Love and to be Loved.” Most of us spend our entire lives only loving and others only in being loved; there are so few of us who are able to experience both. I consider it a blessing
to have this feeling and to share it with other people.
The last Cathedral, as I have mentioned, is called “The Return,” meaning the return to the Father, to the Primordial Essence from which comes every Soul and every human form. In this Cathedral, we have all come back Home.
