Annamaya kosha is equivalent to Sthula Sharira, meaning the gross body, physical or material. It is the first “shell” of the Monad of the five given by the Vedas, which is known by the name of principle.

Annamaya koza, equivalente a Sthûla Zarîra (Sharira), ou seja, o corpo grosseiro, físico ou material. É a primeira "casca" da Mônada entre as cinco admitidas pelos Vedas, entendendo-se como "casca" o que se conhece com o nome de "princípio".

Linga Sharira is derived from linga, meaning “model,” and sharira, which comes from the verbal root sri, meaning “double.” It designates the second principle in the septenary constitution of humankind, which is slightly more ethereal than the physical body (Sthula Sharira). 112 It permeates the entire human body, being a cast of all organs, arteries, and nerves.

Linga Sharira, equivale a Linga, significando modelo; e sharira, que provem da raiz verbal sri, significando apodrecer, ou duplo etérico, designa o 2º princípio na constituição septenária do Homem, que é levemente mais etéreo que o corpo físico (Sthula Sharira). Ele permeia todo o corpo humano, sendo um molde de todos os órgãos, artérias, e nervos.

Prâna or pranan in Sanskrit is derived from pra, or “before,” plus the verbal root an, meaning “to breathe” or “to live.” It designates the third principle in the septenary constitution of man. Prâna is the vital psychic energy that keeps the physical body functioning.

Prâna ou Pranan, em sânscrito: pra, antes; mais a raiz verbal an, respirar, viver. Designa o 3º princípio na constituição septenária do Homem. Prâna representa a energia psíquica, vital, que mantém o corpo físico funcionando.

Kama Rupa (in Sanskrit: kama, “desire”; rupa, “form”) is also known as the “desire body,” the “emotional body,” or the “astral body.” It denotes the fourth principle in the septenary constitution of man.

Kâma Rupa (em sânscrito: kama, desejo; rupa, corpo), também conhecido como corpo de desejos, corpo emocional ou corpo astral. É usado indistintamente Kâma Rupa e corpo de desejos para denotar o 4º princípio na constituição septenária do Homem. Kâma Rupa é a sede da mente (a mente humana, inferior), a parte da constituição do Homem que contém as energias mentais e psíquicas.

Manas (from the Sanskrit root for “man” or “think”) is a reflection of the fifth principle in the septenary constitution of man, and its nature is dual. Manas in higher essence (higher manas) is the “thinker” in us, our true and divine mind. The inferior manas is defined as the mental body, which tends to ally itself with desire (kama). Manas has the task of uniting the animal part to the spiritual part of the human being.

Manas (da raiz do sânscrito, man, pensar), é o reflexo do 5º princípio na constituição septenária do Homem e é de natureza dual. Manas na sua essência mais elevada (Manas superior) é o "pensador" em nós, nossa verdadeira e divina mente. Manas inferior é definido como corpo mental que tem a tendência de se aliar ao desejo (Kama). Manas tem a função de unir a parte animal à parte espiritual.

PORTAL DO ESPÍRITO l PORTAL OF THE SPIRIT 6: BUDDHI
Buddhi (from the Sanskrit verbal root, budh, “awaken,” “enlighten,” “to know”) is the sixth principle in the septenary constitution of man. It is the spiritual soul, the thin vessel in which burns the Atman, the Spirit. It is the single ray that emanates from the universal Soul. Along with the 116 Atman and Manas, buddhi forms the higher Triad—the incorruptible and immortal part.

Budhi (da raiz verbal do sânscrito, budh, despertar, iluminar, saber) é o 6º princípio na constituição septenária do Homem. É a alma espiritual, o fino vaso onde dentro arde o Atman, o Espírito. É o raio individual que emana da Alma Universal. Junto com a Atman e Manas forma a Tríade superior - a parte incorruptível e imortal.

​PORTAL DO ESPÍRITO l PORTAL OF THE SPIRIT 7: ATMAN
Atma or Atman is a Sanskrit word meaning ”soul” or “vital breath.” It represents the Monad, the highest principle of the human being. The Atman is the abstract idea of “myself.” It is the highest human principle, the essence of God, indivisible and formless.

Atman ou Atma é uma palavra em Sânscrito que significa alma ou sopro vital.

Representa a Mônada, o mais elevado princípio do ser humano.

O Atman é a ideia abstracta de "eu próprio".

Atman é o mais elevado princípio humano, a Essência divina, sem forma e indivisível.
